was born in Agrinio (Greece) as a greek Cypriot. After graduating from the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he has been focusing on aesthetic minimal intervention restorations. The contact with photography started during his studies and went from an amateur occupation to the professional applications of this art in the same period. His main point of interest lies in the technological aspect of recording light from optical systems and digital sensors, which led to the realization of a series of tests regarding the fidelity of recording color from digital sensors as well as the optimization of this process. This subject proved very useful in dental photography and photographic documentation. In 2015 he started his dental photography seminars career, limited to dentists and laboratories. He has been a highly respected speaker on dental photography both at conferences and workshops as well as a visiting lecturer at the Dental School of Thessaloniki, while at the same time he is the co-creator of Dental Shade Navigator, shade-taking software for direct restorations.
