was born in Kozani (GR). He finished high school with honours and succeeded in entering the School of Dentistry first in his year. Already during his studies ,his interest has been focused mostly in restorative dentistry, evolving and specializing further throughout the following years. Realising the importance of controlling the working field led him to start working under isolation, thus advancing his skills in rubber dam isolation, reaching a very high level. Identifying that pre- and post-graduate studies lack a sufficient way to teach and train on that topic was the inspiration for starting “simplifying isolation “workshops.

 

Academically, he has been a co-author in several poster articles presented in conferences . From 2017 to 2022 he has been Coltene’s KOL, running as a lecturer almost 30 isolation Workshops on both national and international level .He has also been a speaker in restorative workshops regarding direct and indirect restorations. From mid 2022 he is a Dentsply’s KOL for restorative procedures ,lecturing about direct class II restorations ,emphasising in contact points and matrixing . Dr. Loukas has also been very active among colleagues on social media. He is a co-founder of one of the largest Greek dental groups,.supported on multiple cases in Style-Italiano, thus having received an honour in Restorative-Implant-Full-Protocol.
