comes from Aachen, Germany where he was raised, took his apprenticeship as certified dental technician and graduated in Dentistry at the RWTH-Aachen University. He also worked in the Clinic for dental prosthetics and biomaterials under Prof.Dr.Dr. Hubertus Spiekermann where he received his doctorate degree.
During the last decade he specialized in dental implantology and implant prosthetics. His main focus in scientific research was Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) and immediate implant placement and he is author and coauthor of more than 30 national and international papers with more than 380 citations mainly in the field of GBR. He has given more than 50 lectures and Hands on Workshops on national and international level.
